Storm Damage – Teaneck Office Building

Storm damage to this Teaneck office building occurred when the roof of the building was damaged during a severe thunderstorm. A lot of water was allowed to enter the upper floor through the breach in the roof. The before photo shows the flooding that resulted. When we arrived at the site, it was still storming, and we placed tarps on the roof to stop the flow of water to the interior. Once the storm passed, we arranged for the roof to be repaired and began water extraction with trailer mounted extraction equipment. We were able to clean up the water from the short-napped commercial grade carpeting. We set up industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to accelerate the drying process.
